WAIT FOR IT, IT WILL SURELY COME
"For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry" - HABAKKUK 2 VS 3.
There is a time appointed by God for every promise He makes. The Bible says in the book of Proverbs Chapter 3 verse 1 "'To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven". The Almighty God is a God of order and acts in orderly manners according to His will. Therefore, we need to be conscious of this when waiting for His wonderful promises. He knows what is good for each and every one of us at each point in time and will always do what is best for us as long as we abide in Him. Thus, we must be patient and wait for His perfect timing for every promise irrespective of how urgent we desire the manifestations of such promises.
Abraham was promised a child by God in the book of Genesis Chapter 15 verses 4 and 5 " And, behold, the word of the LORD came unto him, saying, This shall not be thine heir; but he that shall come forth out of thine own bowels shall be thine heir. And He brought him forth abroad, and said, Look now toward heaven, and tell the stars, if thou be able to number them: and He said unto him, So shall thine heir". Abraham waited until his wife Sarah herself lost hope in God's promises. She suggested that he should take her handmaid as wife. She did not know that God had a plan for them and had not forgotten about them.
Sometimes, we all act like Sarah. We try to help God. We feel that some promises of God for our lives are not possible. We tend to assume that God might have changed His mind. We loose hope. We now start looking for alternatives that we assume are similar to what God has promised us. The most interesting part of this story is that Sarah later suddenly realized that God is not a man that He should lie. When the right time for the manifestation of God's promise to Abraham and Sarah came, Isaac was born. Genesis Chapter 21 verses 1 and 2 says " And the LORD visited Sarah as He had said, and the LORD did unto Sarah as He had spoken. For Sarah conceived, and bare Abraham a son in his old age, at the set time of which God had spoken to him".
There is a set time for every promise of God, wait for it. If we do not wait for the right time and try to act things out, there will definitely be a price to pay. Sarah later realized she was going to cause problems in her home with the hasty decision she took. In Genesis Chapter 21 verse 10 , Sarah's eyes were opened. " Wherefore she said unto Abraham, Cast out this bondwoman and her son: for the son of this bondwoman shall not be heir with my son, even with Isaac". By then, it was almost too late. Ishmael too was Abraham's son but God was merciful to her and her son, Isaac. Abraham did not understand why she was acting strange.
Genesis Chapter 21 verses 11 and 12 - " And the thing was very grievous in Abraham's sight because of his son. And God said unto Abraham, Let it not be grievous in thy sight because of the lad, and because of thy bondwoman; in all that Sarah hath said unto thee, hearken unto her voice; for in Isaac shall thy seed be called."
Wait for the LORD's appointed time my brother and my sister. God is not a man that He should lie. All we need to do is to remain in Him. His promises will definitely come to pass in your life. Are you trusting God for the fruit of the womb? He will answer your prayers. The Bible says none shall be barren in the land. Your own will not be an exception. He will definitely do it for you. Are you believing God for the right partner? Trust in Him. Do not rush into a wrong relationship when you know that that is not His Perfect will for your life. Are you trusting Him for one miracle or the other, do not give up. Your miracle is around the corner.
Your own time will definitely come and you will share your testimony. Wait for it, it will not tarry. It will definitely come. Isaiah Chapter 40 verse 31 says " But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint."
God bless you in Jesus mighty name.🙏
