  FRUITFUL SERVICE “I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing “ -   John 15:5 The Father's wish for us is to abide in Jesus Christ and be fruitful. Our existence is not just for us to live and enjoy this beautiful world but to bring glory to God by bearing fruits. How then do we bear fruit? A Christian bears fruit for God by doing the will of God for his/her life. We are to know our calling in Him and keep doing this. It is not just doing what we feel like doing but doing that which He desires that we do. What is your calling? Your calling is that specific duty assigned to you by God. Every Christian has a primary duty of preaching the Gospel. According to Matthew 28 verses 29 and 20 , we are all expected to go about preaching the Good news about Jesus Christ. "For the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the glory of God, as the waters cover the sea." HABAKKUK 2 VS 14 The word of God is the Balm of Gilead . God's words provide healing, deliverance and breakthrough. The Almighty God told Joshua in Joshua Chapter 1 verse 8 that " This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success." The scripture above is a clear indication that our success as children of God depends on how well we study and meditate on the words of God.  This blog will be about posts on the words of God to enable the readers know Him more and thus grow to be the fruitful Christians God wants us to be.  I pray we will be fruitful and abide forever in Him in Jesus name.
