 JESUS, THE PERFECT EXAMPLE

" Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God" - HEBREWS 12:2

Jesus is our Perfect example. We can have mentors, advisers and great leaders we admire but the Bible verse above makes us to understand that Jesus must remain the author and the finisher of our faith. This implies that our success in the Christian race will depend on how much we focus on the person of Jesus. 

Humans are humans and will always be humans. The man of God is first a man before he is seen as the man of God so we must have this at the back of our minds when choosing mentors. If we do not realize it, we will be seriously disappointed and our faith can shake whenever we hear or experience anything else from the standard we expect from our human mentors.

Jesus is the Perfect example of what God expects to see in us. If Jesus will not do it, I must not do it. If Jesus will not say it, it must not come out of my mouth. If Jesus will not watch the Television Program, I must not be seen watching it. We are heirs of God's Kingdom because of our faith in Jesus so we must keep looking unto him. We must keep despising the shame for the sake of God and His son, Jesus. 

Brethren, keep looking unto Jesus. Do not let the action of a man of God or a brother or sister take you away from God. Do not leave the House of God because of the actions or activities of someone or a group of brethren. Keep looking unto Jesus, keep enduring the cross, keep despising the shame for His sake. You will overcome in Jesus name. 

" He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son" - REVELATION 21:7

    Yes, for the price of glory that you target for this missionary assignment being undertaken not for earthly gain, be focused as the reward lies ahead, in Jesus` Name!

    The best area to integrate technology is in the gospel. In this end time we can use technology to drive the message of this kingdom to the region beyond our reach. Well done sir.
