HOLD ON TO GOD'S PROMISES

Hold on to God's promises for your life. He will do all He has promised you at His appointed time. Do not give up. Whatever God promises must definitely come to pass as long as you remain in Him. Joseph is a good example of God's faithfulness and fulfilment of promises. In Genesis 37 verse 5 to 9, Joseph dreamt about God's plan for His life. 

Genesis 37 verse 5 to 9 -

 " And Joseph dreamed a dream, and he told it his brethren: and they hated him yet the more. And he said unto them, Hear, I pray you, this dream which I have dreamed: For, behold, we were binding sheaves in the field, and, lo, my sheaf arise, and also stood upright; and, behold, your sheaves stood round about, and made obeisance to my sheaf. And his brethren said to him, Shalt thou indeed reign over us?or shalt thou indeed have dominion over us? And they hated him yet the more for his dreams, and for his words. And he dreamed yet another dream, and told it his brethren, and said, Behold,I have dreamed a dream more, and, behold, the sun and the moon and the eleven stars made obeisance to me."

Joseph told his brethren his dream and they became his enemies. They tried  to destroy the fulfilment of God's destiny for Joseph but God still actualized it. He is not a man that He should lie. As long as you abide in Him, like Joseph, no plans of the enemies can ever destroy God's great plans for your life. However, there is a great lesson for us here. You are not to tell everyone about your dreams. Keep your dreams to yourself.  If not for God and Joseph's obedience, the enemies would have destroyed him. Not everyone deserves to know your plans and dreams.

In Genesis  41 verse 40 to 44, we see the fulfilment of God's promises in the life of Joseph. 

Genesis 41 verse 40 to 44 - 

"Thou shalt be over my house, and according unto thy word shall all my people be ruled: only in the throne will I be greater than thou. And Pharaoh said unto Joseph,See, I have set thee over all the land of Egypt, And Pharaoh took off his ring from his hand, and put it upon Joseph's hands, and arrayed him in vestures of fine linen, and put a gold chain about his neck; And he made him to ride in the second chariot which he had; and they cried before him, Bow the knee: and he made him ruler over all the land of Egypt. And Pharaoh said unto Joseph, I am Pharaoh, and without thee shall no man lift up his hand or foot in all the land of Egypt."

God fulfilled His promises in the life of Joseph and He is telling you today to believe in His plans for your life. Just keep trusting in Him. He will fulfill it. Isaiah 1 verse 19 says " If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land". Just be willing and remain obedient, and you shall see the Glory of God in Jesus name.
