FRUITFUL SERVICE

“I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing “ -  John 15:5

The Father's wish for us is to abide in Jesus Christ and be fruitful. Our existence is not just for us to live and enjoy this beautiful world but to bring glory to God by bearing fruits. How then do we bear fruit? A Christian bears fruit for God by doing the will of God for his/her life. We are to know our calling in Him and keep doing this. It is not just doing what we feel like doing but doing that which He desires that we do.

What is your calling?

Your calling is that specific duty assigned to you by God. Every Christian has a primary duty of preaching the Gospel. According to Matthew 28 verses 29 and 20 , we are all expected to go about preaching the Good news about Jesus Christ. Apart from this, we are given various duties and are expected to perform the duties to the satisfaction of our Heavenly Father. It is when we do all these ( the Primary assignment of evangelism and our Specific duties) that we can be fruitful in the Kingdom of our Heavenly Father.

I pray that you and I will be fruitful in Jesus mighty name. May we be profitable and found worthy when Jesus shall come back.
